Simple Sizzling Pork Chop Recipe

PORK dinner! I don’t cook pork at home much (except bacon lol) but it’s a great affordable option for those once in a while weeknight meals! The bone-in pork chop is deliciously juicy and simple to make. You just need a good rub and a cast iron skillet!

Here's what you do:

Ingredients:

1lb Pork Chop

Trader Joes Coffee Rub

Onion Powder

Black Garlic Salt (or regular Garlic Salt)

1 Jalapeno

¼ Red Onion

3 Garlic Cloves

Avocado Oil

S&P

Directions:

  1. Salt both sides of pork and then dry with papertowels (get excess moisture out to make sure it gets a good sear)

  2. Pour some 1 tbsp Avocado oil on front and backand rub with 2 tbsp coffee rub, ½ Tbsp Onion Powder, and ½ Tbsp of Garlic Salt

  3. Turn cast iron on medium high heat – pour someavocado oil- and let it get hot for about 4 minutes

  4. Slice jalapeno & red onion, crush the garliccloves and let sit for 7 minutes
